Should You Submit Articles To Article Dashboard Copycats?

This article goes through the article submission process and helps you to determine whether or not it's worth submitting articles to low page ranking web sites, and article dashboard copycats.

What Are Article Dashboard Copycats?

These types of article directories are free software scripts that have been downloaded courtesy of ArticleDashboard.com. "Article Dashboard Copycats" is just a term I use to classify directories using this system. It is very easy to determine whether or not a web site is using this free script just by the look & feel of the web site. Not much is typically done from the directory owners to customize the look & feel of their web site, nor is there a great difference in the way the author manager system works.

All in all, I give this free software a 5/10. Many features of this free script are very generic and not very eye appealing for visitors.

Viewing articles within the article categories is extremely hard to read since each article is bunched up together with no real spacing in between them. The same applies for the author profile section, articles are again very hard to read. The articles themselves on the other hand have a good layout, with an easy to read setup unlike the directory category view.

All in all, ArticleDashboard.com has created a brilliant free downloadable product that has brought them a great deal of traffic and exposure online. I would give the programmers of this free script 3 thumbs up for their effort if I had 3 hands.

The questions still remains the same....

Is It Worth Spending The Time Submitting Articles To ArticleDashboard Copycats?

ABSOLUTELY!

I would say that 80-90% of all authors world wide only submit articles to their personal top 25-50 article directories within their list. Truly advanced marketers know that marketing is about the numbers, and the numbers speak for themselves. This is the reason why popular authors tend to submit articles to as many article directories as possible, including ArticleDashboard copycats.

When I started posting articles 6 years ago within my web site Smartads.info, it took years before the 100 or so articles I manually added got barred behind 1000's more like it. The point here is that even if an article directory is brand new, it doesn't mean that you won't receive a lot of traffic from it.

In most cases when you submit to newer directories, your articles are the only ones within each category for a very long time. This ultimately gives your articles a great deal of exposure for a greater amount of time.

When I submit articles online, I make sure to submit to over 500 directories within my list, not just the top 50. This way I give more exposure for each article, instead of mass producing 100's of articles with meaningless content. This gives me more time to concentrate on truly important topics while doing some research for each article I submit.

Wouldn't you rather have 50 hot topic articles, instead of having 500 articles that don't say a thing?

Lately we are starting to see a shift in the way authors are writing articles, or lack of writing I should say. Many authors are on this new kick thinking that one paragraph is considered an article!

One paragraph for an article, are you kidding me?

Again, this goes along with less is more theory! But I assert you one thing, less is NOT more when it comes to content online.

Search engines don't reward you for 100 individually submitted paragraphs.

Search engines reward authors with unique, well thought out articles that have substance. If you don't think search engines are that smart, just keep thinking that way and you'll stay right where you are right now.

In Conclusion:

If you truly want to be recognized as a great author online, or if you seriously want to promote your clients properly, spend more time writing articles that say a great deal, and spend more time submitting one article to 500 directories instead of submitting 500 articles to only 1 article directory. Oh yeah, and please stop submitting 1 paragraph teasers that don't say anything. Visitors and search engines reward you for your knowledge, not your apparent lack of it.

If you do this, you will gain massive traffic in areas you never though possible!
