isnare.com founder and Internet Marketing expert Glenn Prialde Interview
Dale King: Today, I'm interviewing Internet marketing expert and founder of isnare.com, Glenn Prialde. Hello Glenn, how are you?

Glenn Prialde: Hi Dale, finally got time for the interview. I must be the only Internet Marketer. that has sooo little time. (heh, heh.)

Dale King: Glenn, tell our readers how you got started marketing on the Internet.

Glenn Prialde: I first read about Internet Marketing by accident in one of the tech ebooks I read. (Sorry, I  forgot the ebook title.)
I worked as a Software Engineer, and the Internet was always my partner in solving algorithmic problems, not to mention reading all that
"informative" geek stuff online. That's basically how I got involved with Internet Marketing.

Dale King: Some Internet marketing experts advise newbies to steer clear of Internet marketing, because it's too competitive. Do you agree with that assessment?

Glenn Prialde: I can't say I disagree, but I can't say I agree either. IF you choose to go into Internet marketing all I can tell you is be ready to take the risk, AND the stress. Internet marketing is no joke. It's serious business. And  it's definitely not gonna happen for you overnight. For me, it took 6 months to a year before I finally had the income I was seeking from Internet Marketing.

Dale King: How is Internet marketing different now, as opposed to when you first got started online?

Glenn Prialde: A lot! From SEO down to the tools available. When I first started, I had only the forums, and blogs which were quite hot at that
time, as they are now, and there were only a few article directories. I am
referring  to the FREE means of getting traffic to your website. That includes PR and link exchanges, at a time when exchanging links worked very well. Now I cannot recommend link exchanges, unless  you know  the correct way to link exchange, which is to link only to sites relevant to yours.

In addition, today there are thousands of article directories, SE's algorithms are more complicated which makes SEO a bit harder for starters to compete in SE rankings. There are so many more ways to get traffic other than PPC. Just take a look at exactseek.com's ISEDN.org.

Dale King: If you could give my readers one piece of advice, what would it be?

Glenn Prialde:  My only advice is... whatever you do online, whatever business you go into, whatever methods of Internet Marketing you have in mind, do not lose hope. Everyone fails the first time, the second, the
third....If you fail, learn from it... study WHY so the next time you do it you'll surely get what you want. The Internet is big enough for everyone. Do not be afraid to try anything you want to try. BUT always stay away from services/products with a lot of hype and poor customer service, because MOST of them will do you no good at all.

Dale King: Thank you very much Glenn. I appreciate you taking the time to do this interview.

Glenn Prialde: Dale, it was my pleasure! Thanks for including me on your guru list.
